Chord Mode — Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the Chord mode?

A. The Chord mode is a utility that enables the user to look up the finger patterns of the chords, and their associated inversions, that are available to play using the Verti-Chord Keyboard app. The keys shown as highlighted  represent the keys to be simultaneously touched to implement the chord. The Chord mode has two sub-modes, the Advanced sub-mode (Adv button color will be Blue and Pro button color will be White), which shows the chord finger patterns using only piano keyboard white keys, and the Professional sub-mode (Pro button color will be Blue and Adv button color will be White), which shows the chord finger patterns using both piano keyboard black keys and white keys. There is no sound produced when the keys are touched in Chord mode.

Q. How do I toggle the Chord mode ON and OFF?

A. Make sure that the Song mode is OFF (either Song button will NOT be shown or Song button color will be White). Then double-tap the Chord button to toggle the Chord mode ON (Chord button color changes from White to Blue) and OFF (Chord button color changes from Blue to White).
